“Ideas are bubbling in the capital region, the entrepreneurial spirit is palpable everywhere – and the BPW was right there again on March 29. The winning team of the second phase of the BPW was rewarded with prize money of 15,000 euros at the 2nd award ceremony, and the top 10 teams presented their business ideas to the audience. The evening was hosted by Berliner Sparkasse, premium partner of the BPW. At the af Auditorium Friedrichstraße, a venue that combines history and modernity, our guests had the opportunity to get to know the best ideas of the second round before the actual award ceremony. At 6:30 PM, Olaf Schulz, General Representative of Berliner Sparkasse, officially opened the award evening and presented the main prize and associated prize money to the winning team with the best business concept. The top 10 then presented their ideas live on stage in 90 seconds. The audience could vote after the pitches and evaluate the best presentation. Sven Weickert, Managing Director of the Berlin-Brandenburg Business Associations, presented the audience award of 2,000 euros after all votes were counted.
