TrueFormer™. Engineered for peak performance.
ASA
ASA (acrylonitrile-styrene-acrylate) is an engineering thermoplastic with high weather and UV resistance as well as good mechanical strength. The material is characterised by high dimensional stability, good thermal properties, and excellent surface quality. Thanks to its low tendency to warp and high resistance to environmental influences, ASA is particularly suitable for functional components used outdoors, as well as for industrial and automotive applications.

ASA processing on the TrueFormer™
ASA is processed on the TrueFormer™ under precisely controlled temperature conditions for reproducible industrial manufacturing processes. Process-chamber temperatures above 90 °C allow large components to be printed without warping or distortion.
Typical process parameters on the TrueFormer™:
- Nozzle temperature: 270 °C
- Bed temperature: 90–110 °C
- Chamber temperature: 90–110 °C
- Layer height: 0.08 to 0.8 mm
Note: Data may vary depending on the filament manufacturer.
