TrueFormer™. Engineered for peak performance.

PEEK CF

PEEK CF (carbon-fiber-reinforced polyetheretherketone) is a high-performance, fiber-reinforced semi-crystalline thermoplastic designed for industrial applications subject to extremely high loads. The carbon-fiber reinforcement delivers increased stiffness, strength and dimensional stability compared to unreinforced PEEK. PEEK CF is particularly well-suited to structural and tribologically stressed components in mechanical engineering, automation technology, aerospace and the automotive industry.

PEEK CF processing on the TrueFormer™

PEEK is processed on the TrueFormer™ under precisely controlled high-temperature conditions for reproducible industrial manufacturing processes. With high chamber and bed temperatures, plus fine calibrations that account for shrinkage, this semi-crystalline material can be processed reliably on the TrueFormer™.

Typical process parameters on the TrueFormer™:

  • Nozzle temperature: 370 – 450 °C
  • Bed temperature: up to 250 °C
  • Chamber temperature: up to 250 °C
  • Layer height: 0.08 to 0.8 mm

Note: Data may vary depending on the filament manufacturer.
