TrueFormer™. Engineered for peak performance.
PEEK
PEEK (polyetheretherketone) is a high-performance semi-crystalline thermoplastic for particularly demanding industrial applications, characterised by exceptionally high mechanical strength, stiffness and chemical resistance. The material is ideal for high-load functional parts, mechanical-engineering components and applications in aerospace, medical technology and the oil & gas industry. PEEK is also biocompatible and therefore particularly well-suited to implants, surgical instruments and components intended to remain in the body long-term.

PEEK processing on the TrueFormer™
PEEK is processed on the TrueFormer™ under precisely controlled high-temperature conditions for reproducible industrial manufacturing processes. With high chamber and bed temperatures, plus fine calibrations that account for shrinkage, this semi-crystalline material can be processed reliably on the TrueFormer™.
Typical process parameters on the TrueFormer™:
- Nozzle temperature: 370 – 450 °C
- Bed temperature: up to 250 °C
- Chamber temperature: up to 250 °C
- Layer height: 0.08 to 0.8 mm
Note: Data may vary depending on the filament manufacturer.
